    The next edition of the festival will take place on October 1-6, 2026 at the Kinomuzeum MSN in Warsaw. We invite you to join us and help co-create our festival!

    Volunteering is about much more than simply helping with the organisation of the festival. It’s an opportunity to learn the ins and outs of organising a cultural event, meet new people, work together, watch films, and spend a few days as part of a great team and in very good company. We invite all cis and trans women and non-binary people to join our festival crew!

    If you would like to join us as a volunteer, please fill in the form below. The application form will be open until 10 September 2026, and we will respond to all applications by 15 September 2026.

    Film program “After Rain Comes Sun”

    Five stories from five corners of the world seen through the eyes of women documentary filmmakers. On the weekend of June 6-8, together with The Wajda Film Center, we invite you to the Luna cinema in Warsaw for the film program “After Rain Comes Sun”.

    Three generations of women in one family and the history of Ukraine stretched across time and space, reflected in their fates as if in a lens (“A Picture to Remember” by Olya Chernykh). Moldova in the 90s and thousands of women moving abroad in search of work and a better life for themselves and their loved ones (“Love Is Not an Orange” by Otilia Babara). A mother who, after traveling a dangerous route from Africa to Europe, makes a bold decision to return to her village in Ghana out of longing for her children (“Fati’s Choice” by Fatimah Dadzie). A young girl from Somalia who faces the necessity of building a life from scratch in Hungary, but does not stop chasing her dreams (“Easy Lessons” by Dorottya Zurbó). Fearless women who want to become the vanguard of change in Lebanon – a country shaken by successive crises (“Diaries from Lebanon” by Myriam El Hajj).

    The films presented in the program “After Rain Comes Sun” are connected by a reflection on what “home” is – in the physical, emotional and symbolic dimension. But also – how often its loss becomes the beginning of a new path.

    Screenings will be accompanied by meetings with the directors, who will explore the topics covered in the films in more detail.
