Marta Golba-Naumann

I create and support documentary films because I believe in their power to move emotions and trigger change—in us and around us. 

She has been part of the HER Docs Foundation since 2021, where she develops an industry program supporting women professionals in documentary filmmaking. In 2024, she joined the Foundation’s board. She combines her production experience with the knowledge gained through participation in various film forums and workshops. Within her company, Endorfina Studio, she produced films such as “15 Corners of the World” by Zuzanna Solakiewicz, which won the Critics Week Award at the Locarno Film Festival, and “All These Sleepless Nights” by Michał Marczak, which received the Directing Award at the Sundance Film Festival. Graduated from Film and Television Production from the University of Silesia and has attended prestigious international workshops, including Emerging Producers (2012) and EAVE (2018). She has twice been awarded by the Polish Chamber of Audiovisual Producers for Best Debut Producer and Best Second Film. Since 2024, she has co-created and oversees the D’Hub program at the Dokumentale festival in Berlin, dedicated to non-fiction filmmaking.

The best cinema is the one that you can’t stop talking about.

She has been involved with HER Docs since 2023 as an event producer, and since 2024 as a member of the Foundation’s Management Board. She has been working in film event production and promotion for 16 years, with a particular focus on documentary cinema. Primarily active as a producer and co-selector for international film festivals—including Millennium Docs Against Gravity (2008–2014) and Watch Docs, where she served as Industry Manager.

She is also a distribution and audience development consultant, collaborating with Polish filmmakers (currently with KIJORA FILM). Additionally, she has experience in the commercial creative sector, particularly in branding, marketing, and promotion.

She holds a degree in American Studies from the Faculty of Modern Languages at the University of Warsaw.


Weronika Adamowska

I love documentary cinema and would like to ‘infect’ as many people as possible with my enthusiasm.

One of the co-founders of HER Docs, in the team she deals with, among others, the film program, partnerships and promotion. She has been working in the film industry for over 15 years. Professionally, she advises documentary filmmakers as a consultant and outreach producer. She co-organized the largest documentary film festival in Poland, Millennium Docs Against Gravity, and worked for Against Gravity – one of the leading distributors of documentary and arthouse cinema in Poland. In Germany, she created and ran the cinema distribution company Rise And Shine Cinema for the sales agent Rise And Shine World Sales. Over the course of 3 years, she brought documentaries to cinemas that were seen by over 200,000 people. As a film curator, she cooperated with, among others: the Museum of Modern Art, the Zachęta National Gallery of Art, the Pawilon, the State Ethnographic Museum and filmPOLSKA. Scholarship holder of the Berlinale Talents program, supporting young talents in the film industry.
